Where, how, or when did you gain an interest in circular activities?

My passion for circularity began when I was growing up - my parents taught me to save water, switch off lights, and never discard items unnecessarily.  Wherever I've worked, I've always tried to encourage colleagues to think about 'waste'. I helped my previous employer, Creation Reprographics, achieve ISO 14001 Environmental Management certification. Circular activities just seem like a natural thing to do.

What does your organisation do?

I started Green Bubble because I saw a huge environmental opportunity being missed - perfectly reusable packaging was being incinerated or exported as waste. I’m passionate about the circular economy and wanted to create a practical, community-focused solution that gives packaging a second life while supporting local jobs and reducing carbon emissions. I want to engage more people, and show that sustainability can be simple, cost-effective, and accessible for everyone. It's about turning waste into value and inspiring others to do the same.

What is your role within the organisation?

I'm the founder of Green Bubble and I'm currently trying to make our operations as lean as possible. As a sole trader, I find myself wearing many hats ‒ handling everything from sourcing and logistics to marketing and finance ‒ so my partnership with Sunflower Recycling has been invaluable, providing consistent material supply, logistical support, and a shared commitment to sustainability that underpins everything we do.
